The first tier of services offered by Ascent MMI is our co-operative model. In the co-op model, physicians ask us how Ascent MMI can help increase the revenue of the practice. We offer four ways for physicians and their practices to achieve this goal.
- General Purchasing – Ascent MMI has leveraged the volume of our member practices to create ‘best price’ contracts with multiple suppliers. Practices at the co-op or management services level can enjoy the savings that result from consolidated demand.
- Insurance Contracting – Ascent MMI assists physician practices in negotiating contracts with insurance providers allowing for contracts specific to the practice’s specialty.
- Equipment Purchasing – Ascent MMI has leveraged its purchasing power to negotiate contracts with suppliers such as GE Medical Systems for ultrasound equipment.
- Co-op Website – Ascent MMI has a special website for our Co-op clients. This site contains tools to help practices with questions relating to coding, insurance payments and procedures, and messenger model contracting questions.
